Project Description: Absolut vodka is the liquor equivalent of the VW bug in advertising. No other brand has been more semantically poignant. I approached them to create this ad, for their Latin American cities series.
Project Management: Ad brief & Production
I supervised the creative brief, the budget and production in Santiago de Chile, including the NY photo crew, a fine art event and press. The ad captivated Chilean audiences, as it focused on an iconic air tram located in the heart of the city’s hills, Cerro San Cristóbal. The client was very pleased with this “insider approach” to the creative. The ad and a number of joint PR activities, contributed to positioning the brand as top-of-mind within its target audience that year.
